Overview
Located in central Rapid City, the Civic Center hosts to a variety of entertainment, sporting and business events thanks to thousands of square-feet of available space to support big-name events and large crowds.
With so much available room, there’s no better regional location to hold a convention than in the Rapid City Civic Center. Numerous meeting rooms and halls provide just the right setting for business gatherings. For bigger trade shows and events, Rushmore Hall is the ideal choice at 41,000 sq ft. LaCroix Hall is ideal for smaller crowds, and meeting rooms can hold anywhere from 10-450 people.
The Ice Arena can seat more than 5,000 spectators for hockey games, more than 7,000 concert audience members, and temporary flooring can be conveniently applied for festivals and trade shows.
The Don Barnett Arena can seat between 9 and 10 thousand people, making it the perfect choice for concerts, and the newly remodeled theatre puts on state-of-the-art performances for its 1745-seat crowds.
